HELP!A rat chewed my wiring harness and I need to remove the steering wheel to repair it How do you get it off? I see no holes for a steering wheel puller.

I imagine it takes a puller but a different type puller. My Ford manual simply says "Use a suitable puller." The picture shows one with three arched arms that lock onto a ring behind underneath the sheering wheel hub. I have a puller like that but without the ring (the picture doesn't indicate how the ring gets under the hub). If I were taking off mine I'd probably see if my generic puller would work before looking for a specialized one. I'd check if the notches in the puller arms would grab onto the bottom of the hub and whether that part of the hub seemed strong enough. Your dealer service manager might show you what works. ....
